The Project

The first major project of the year for AES commences in early March, with the mechanical and electrical fit-out of the famous old vinyl record store in Hayes, Middlesex (below).

In its former life, The Record Store was where the master copies of every EMI album were pressed. This year, the premises will become the home of the Central Research Laboratory which will used by 21st Century inventors and entrepreneurs who are seeking to take their products from prototype to the commercial marketplace.

Above the CRL there will be four floors of bespoke office space fitted out to a high M&E specification by AES as we undertake electrically, the lighting, power, data, fire and intruder alarms and mechanically, the heating, air cooling, ventilation and installation of WC’s.

Completing in November 2016, this project is arguably one of the most prestige in the AES portfolio and demonstrates our continued expansion and progression in the M&E commercial sector.
