The Project

The pictures in this portfolio feature the various stages of our mechanical and electrical fit-out of the famous Old Vinyl Factory warehouse in Hayes, Middlesex (below).

In its former life, The Old Vinyl Factory was where the master copies of every EMI album were pressed. Now the refit is complete the premises will become the home of the Central Research Laboratory which will used by 21st Century inventors and entrepreneurs who are seeking to take their products from prototype to the commercial marketplace.

Above the CRL there are four floors of bespoke office space fitted out to a high M&E specification by AES. We carried out, electrically, the lighting, power, data, fire and intruder alarms and mechanically, the heating, air cooling, ventilation and installation of WC’s.

We are also undertaking all the external lighting in the car park and pedestrian areas.

This project is arguably one of the most prestige in the AES portfolio and demonstrates our continued expansion and progression in the M&E commercial sector.
